Time Flies

So it's been a long time since I posted anything on my blog..too long. Much as changed. Many events. A divorce. A marriage. Adriana and Gabi moved out temporarily and now I can't seem to get them home. Dan and I were sealed in the Winter Quarters Temple. We bought a big rig- Big Blue. He rolled Big Blue. Still working Big Blue. I graduated from college..wow...the list goes on and on. Guess it's time to start anew and catch you up little by little. It seems overwhelming, but the FlyLady says to start where you are...so I'm starting TODAY!

Bella

We went to the market yesterday and the guy selling next to us was giving away two female black lab puppies. Sarah really likes black labs and I told the kids that we would get a dog as soon as we move to my parents' farm. Well, we'll be moving there in 2 weeks and being Valentine's Day, the kids were able to convince Jody to let us bring the pups home. Sarah named hers Jasmine and we named ours Bella(pronounced bay-ya) which means beautiful in Spanish.

The Mystery Animal

We came home after gymnastics and as Soraya and Olivia walked up to the door, Olivia started yelling that there was a racoon on the porch. I walked up to see and informed them that it wasn't a racoon, it was a opossum. At which point Soraya yells, "It's a REAL LIVE opossum!"

Kids!

No, really! They are two of the cutest kids that I have ever seen.

Living in the country is so fun!

I broke it!

So take a good look at my middle toe. I was coming around the end of the bed this morning when suddenly a snap and intense pain in my toe caused me to scream and hurl my body into the middle of our bed. It wasn't until I finally opened my eyes that I saw what I had hit...A HAMMER! Steven had it on the bed after working in our bathroom and then, as is his habit, he shuffled it to the floor instead of putting it away. This brings new meaning to look before you leap!
